Crystal
Office Manager
Crystal joined Braces By Brekke with experience working in pediatrics, general dentistry, and now orthodontics since 2005! Crystal enjoys helping patients throughout their smile journey. She is happy to help our patients navigate through any financial or insurance questions.
In her free time, Crystal loves going camping as much as possible with her husband, two boys, and Labradors!
Desiree
Treatment Coordinator
Desiree joined Braces By Brekke with experience in both dental assisting and treatment coordinating since 2011. She has worked in both oral surgery and orthodontics. She enjoys the opportunity to help patients get started on their smile journey by coordinating and explaining the process to a healthy beautiful smile.
Desiree enjoys traveling in her free time, and just about anything outdoors with her two children and spouse.
Malina
Patient Care Coordinator
Malina has half a dozen years of experience in healthcare administration and is excited to enter the orthodontic field as our patient care and scheduling coordinator. She takes pride in being the first smile our patients see when they enter our lobby and in creating a welcoming environment. Malina is here to help our patients from their first consultation to the completion of their treatment.
Malina enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and children.
Jolene
Lead Orthodontic Assistant
Jolene has been a familiar friendly face to our patients since 2003 and continues to provide excellent patient care and compassion when working chairside and assisting at the front desk. Her passion is making patients know they are welcome and in great hands during their visits. She enjoys the one-on-one patient interactions and helping increase their confidence with a healthy beautiful smile.
Jolene and her husband Ron enjoy vacations in Palm Springs, working out, being outdoors, and taking casual rides on their vintage Schwinn cruisers.
Jennifer
Orthodontic Assistant
Jennifer has been a part of our patients’ smile journeys since 2011. As an orthodontic assistant, she works alongside Dr. Brekke during appointments and makes sure our office is stocked with all the equipment necessary to create our patients’ beautiful smiles. Jennifer enjoys seeing patients progress through their treatment and the happiness they feel when they achieve their new smile.
Jennifer, her husband, and their two sons enjoy watching and playing sports, as well as outdoor activities, especially camping!
Kloie
Orthodontic Assistant
Kloie has been working in orthodontics since 2019. Her favorite part about working in orthodontics is being able to transform smiles and build confidence the way braces did for her.
In Kloie’s spare time she enjoys playing with her puppy, reading a book, fishing, or really anything outdoors!
Julissa
Sterilization Technician / Orthodontic Assistant
Julie had started her career in the orthodontic field when she joined Braces By Brekke as a sterilization technician. She is quickly working her way toward becoming an orthodontic assistant. She enjoys helping patients throughout their journey to a new smile and watching their transformation.
In Julie’s free time, she likes to explore the outdoors and spend time at the beach. She also enjoys camping with her friends and family.
Carah
Orthodontic Assistant
Carah joined Braces By Brekke in April 2022 as an orthodontic assistant with five years of experience. Her primary responsibilities include assisting chairside along Dr. Brekke and serving as our Invisalign coordinator. Carah enjoys being able to work one on one with patients and to connect with our patients during their visits. Her favorite part of the job is watching patients see their new smiles for the first time after their braces are removed.
Carah and her husband Brandon have two girls who keep them very busy. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, while camping, riding ATVs at the Oregon sand dunes, or going on bike rides.
Julia
Orthodontic Assistant
Julia graduated from Portland Community College dental assisting program in 2019 and has been working in orthodontics ever since. She loves being able to work with all ages and their journey to a beautiful smile. She enjoys the variety and challenge working in orthodontics brings and how you can constantly learn in the field.
Outside of orthodontics, Julia has a horse and two dogs that she spends a lot of time with. Big changes will be coming for Julia in 2023, as she will be getting married and moving into their remodeled home!
